Mash ToGo
The practical solution, Mash in portion bags. Mash is an appetising, light and easily digested feed that contains valuable nutrients which helps maintain the intestinal flora. It is ideal for underweight horses, for horses that are heavily worked and after sickness and during the moulting season. This ready to use mixture is easy to prepare as no mixing and cooking is necessary.
Mash has never been so easy, trouble-free, quick and clean to prepare:
- Open the sachet before you leave the office or home
- Add 1 litre of hot water to the mash in the sachet
- Close the sachet carefully for transporting
- The temperature of the mash is ready for feeding as soon as you arrive at the stables or after mucking-out or riding.
- Empty the contents of the sachet directly in to the horse’s trough.
- The empty sachet is recyclable.
Contents per kg:
Wheat bran 17 %, Barley flakes 48 %, Linseeds 10%, Linseed extract 10 %, Rape oil ref. 2 %, Apple marc 10 %, Calcium carbonate 1,00 %, Sodium chloride 0,5 %.

Complimentary feed for horses
Derby’s recommended feeding guide:
Per Horse (600 Kg): 1 x 0.5 Kg sachet mixed with approximately 1 litre warm water 2 – 3 times a week.
Mix mash well with 1 litre of warm water and leave to soak for 30 minutes before feeding.
