Kerafortin Dietetic complementary feed, liquid, for horses and ponies, for the improvement of the quality of hoofs and skin protection For strong hooves, intact skin and a shiny coat •Supports the horse with essential nutrients (biotin, zinc, methionine and lysine) •Improves the elasticity of the hooves and promotes the regeneration of hard hoof horn •Lends the coat a special shine Cracked or brittle hooves are a problem and cannot hold nails securely enough to keep a shoe on. Biotin, zinc, methionine (sulphurous amino acid) and lysine are important components of the hoof. As the organism itself cannot produce them they have to be supplemented. In case of an optimum supplementation brittle and cracked hooves improve and elastic and hard hoof horn grows again. The coat takes on a glossy shine. Composition: Glucose, sodium chloride Essential nutritional-characteristics: High concentration of zinc Ingredients: Crude protein 1.00 % crude fat 0.01 % crude fibre 0.40 % crude ash 1.46% moisture 89.70 % sodium 0.90 % Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: biotin 750,000 mcg zinc (zinc acetate, dihydrate) (E 6) 5,875 mg DL methionine 13,100 mg L-lysine mono HCL 2,500 mg Feeding recommendation: Horses (600 kg): 20 ml daily. Foals/ponies: 10 ml daily. Add to concentrated feed or drinking water. Recommended feeding duration: Initially 8 weeks. Daily feeding of Kerafortin® is important. It is recommended that an expert's or a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use. Feeding direction: Due to its higher content of zinc in comparison with complete feeds this dietetic complementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 0.3 % of their daily ration. Doping relevance: Currently conform to German ADMR (Stand: 01/ 2012). Please observe the applicable national anti-doping regulations! Storage conditions: Shake well before use!
