EQUIPUR-Ice-Pack One-way compress for efficient cold treatment. EQUIPUR-ice-pack an always handy and efficient cold treatment (up to -8°C) for primary care of overtaxed and injured tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments, joints and musculature.
EQUIPUR - ice-packs should be carried to rides and shows, where often there is no opportunity for cold treatments. They are easy to transport, instantaneously operational when needed and will cool for approximately 1 hr.
EQUIPUR - ice-packs are filled with granules and will therefore easily wrap around the injured areas; their extra long design (about 13 x 22 cm) is extremely suitable for cold treatments of tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments, joints and musculature of the horse.
Application: EQUIPUR - ice-pack have to be crushed in the centre in order to burst open the inner bag. Subsequently, wrap it around the affected area and fix it with a bandage. For maximum effectiveness apply cold treatment over longer time period (at least 20-30 min) to enable cold to penetrate deeply into tissues. Remove EQUIPUR - ice-pack after 1 hr at the latest; if necessary, treatment can be repeated with a new EQUIPUR - ice-pack after a short brake (approximately 10 min).
