Valerian is ideal against restlessness, stress and anxiety. It has been observed that although the horse is more relaxed, his performance is not effected.
Valerien is a hardy perrennial flowering plant with white or pink flowers, it is native to middle Europe and is often found in hedgerows. The roots are gathered and dried in late Autumn.
The biological name “Valeriana” derives from the latin word “valere” which means healthy or strong, which can either mean that the plant is healthy to eat or strong in it’s smell.
